head to toe: birthday (body)suit.

who: me
what: out to marquee

thin bodysuit

1. american apparel cotton spandex micro-mesh gloria-v bodysuit | black: in a desperate attempt to channel any remote relation to megan fox, i knew i needed this bodysuit when i saw her sporting it on the cover of rolling stone magazine. i had it for three months before i decided to wear it (in public) but felt that marquee would be an appropriate venue. it’s super comfortable, and just enough, without being too much.

2. f21 pleated bengaline skirt | fuschia: last summer, i went through a big “skirt” phase, when i literally only bought and wore skirts. in those three months, i more than quadrupled the number of skirts i own and continued the obsession into the fall where i picked up this little number. the color is vibrant and the only one of its kind in my closet.

3. gucci “riddle” platform booties | asphalt/black: in the same way that i have likened my laptop and blackberry to romantic relationships, i would consider these beautiful gems of gucci booties, my children. i know i usually pride myself on being a smart shopper, but what’s life without the occasional indulgence? as my third and favorite pair of gucci shoes, i would have to agree that there’s no love like that of a mother and child.
